Meet the baker

Hi, I'm Nefeli.

Nefeli's Cookies started in my home kitchen in Richmond Hill, with one goal: to bake the kind of cookie worth planning your Sunday around. Big, thick, golden on the outside, soft in the middle. The kind you break in half and immediately regret agreeing to share.

Every cookie is made by hand in small batches with real butter, real chocolate, and zero shortcuts. I bake to order, which means nothing sits on a shelf. Your box comes out of the oven the same weekend it reaches your hands.

It's not a one-woman show, either. My boyfriend Peter helps every way he can, from Sunday handoffs to dishes to very dedicated taste-testing.

Questions, answered

When do I need to order by?
Preorders for each week close Friday at 11:59 PM. Orders placed after the cutoff roll into the following week's bake.
How do I pay?
We take Interac e-Transfer. Submit the order form and the payment details appear right away. Your order is confirmed once your e-transfer arrives, within 24 hours and no later than Friday at 11:59 PM.
How does pickup work?
All orders are ready on Sunday. Pickup is in Richmond Hill and always free. We send you the address and a time window on Saturday once your order is confirmed.
How big are the cookies?
Big. These are thick, bakery-style gourmet cookies. Think a proper dessert, not a snack. One cookie is genuinely shareable (though we won't judge).
Do you accommodate allergies?
All cookies are baked in a home kitchen that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts, so we can't guarantee any cookie is allergen-free. If you have a severe allergy, please reach out before ordering.
How should I store my cookies?
They're best the day you get them (ideally slightly warm). After that, keep them in an airtight container for up to 4 days, and 10 seconds in the microwave brings them right back. They also freeze beautifully for up to 2 months.
Can you do large orders or events?
Yes! For orders of 2+ dozen, weddings, showers, or corporate gifts, send us a message at least one week ahead and we'll make it happen.
